Our Early Head Start Child Care Partnerships

What is a Early Head Start Child Care Partnership program? 

​

Our partnership programs are excellent childcare facilities that we have decided to partner with in Missoula and Ravalli county. Families in our partnership program receive the benefits of Early Head Start on top of the diverse learning experience found at our partnership location.  If you have any questions on partnership, please look to see if they are answered in our FAQ, or you can find our contact information under the Contact Us tab 

Curious Minds

Who We Serve: 

We serve children ages 0-5 years old. 

About Us

Our goals for the child are:

​

1.  To meet each child’s needs by offering a wide variety of challenging activities

​

2. To foster competent, responsible, adaptive citizens.

​

3. To develop respect for oneself, others, the environment and all forms of life.

​

4.  To encourage curiosity within each child, giving each room to discover and explore, in return gaining independence.

​

5. To provide opportunity for the use of small and large activities, motor skills for indoor and outdoor activities.

​

6. To develop the child’s innate, ultimate potential through high self-expectation.

​

7. To express themselves through art and play materials freely and constructively

  • Age appropriate curriculum, and a nurturing environment

​

  • Ongoing parent involvement opportunities are offered throughout duration of the child's enrollment

​

  • Vision, hearing and dental screenings

​

  • Nutritious meals and snacks to all enrolled children provided by the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program

​

  • Help obtaining local area resources and social services

​

  • Families have two home visits, as well as two parent teacher conferences with their Infant/Toddler teacher each year

About Us:

We are a center-based childcare/preschool program. We have a spacious environment where each classroom is designed to meet appropriate needs per child.

Our goal and commitment is to help your child achieve the milestones of early childhood and create a foundation for learning that will last after your child leaves our program. 

Who We Serve: 

We serve children ages 0-5 years old. We also provide after-school programming for children kindergarten-4th grade.

Little Twigs Childcare

About Us:

Little Twigs is a licensed childcare for ages 0-6 serving over 50 enrolled children in Missoula, Montana.

 

Our mission is to provide high-quality childcare to all and empower refugee women and women of color for careers in Early Childhood Education. We are building a model of what it means to be a global community in a small western town.

 

We employ the highest number of refugees in the state of Montana and serve families from Syria, Iraq, Yemen, The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, and Afghanistan.

 

Our teaching philosophy is based on Montessori principles and our CACFP food program serves the global cuisine of our community. Our work within our community is creating ripples of love as we raise the next generation of children who are bridge builders across culture, language, class and religion.
